President Directors are responsible for contacting dental school faculty and admissions representatives to coordinate school visits that include an informative presentation and live Q&A. They also help host Journal Clubs by facilitating discussions on current dental topics and research, while serving as a resource for members seeking guidance throughout their pre-dental journey.

Vice President Directors help oversee the PDSA Shadowing Program by monitoring participation, communicating with assigned dentists, and sending weekly shadowing updates. They also meet one-on-one with members to review program rules, etiquette, and expectations, and help present non-clinical workshops on topics such as DAT preparation, AADSAS, and professionalism. Directors also assist guest speakers during meetings and help create a welcoming environment for members.

Treasury Directors support PDSA’s financial operations by assisting with record-keeping, budgeting, fundraisers, partial-proceeds events, and merchandise sales. They also help coordinate business partnerships, design and distribute PDSA merchandise, and assist with financial workshops focused on topics like practice ownership and scholarships. In addition, they help plan the annual PDSA Banquet alongside the Treasurer and Banquet Committee.

Volunteer Coordinator Directors oversee PDSA’s clinical and non-clinical service opportunities by managing sign-ups, confirmations, waitlists, and communication for recurring volunteer events. They also attend and help lead events, support members with volunteering questions, and work to maintain existing community partnerships while developing new ones. Their role helps ensure volunteer opportunities remain organized, accessible, and meaningful for both members and the communities PDSA serves.

Dental Education Directors organize and lead clinical workshops that give members hands-on exposure to dental techniques, instruments, and procedures. They manage event logistics, sign-ups, and attendee communication while researching workshop topics to ensure accurate, up-to-date content. They also help facilitate events such as instrumentation, composite, and suturing workshops, making each session organized, educational, and engaging.
